Jaipur, Jan 30 : The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF-13) was kicked off at a glittering inaugural ceremony here this evening.
Bollywood 'Dream-Girl' of yesteryear Hema Malini, noted actress Sharmila Tagore, actor Prem Chopra and singer Ela Arun graced the ceremony.
Sharmila was conferred with Life-time Achievement award at the inaugural function.
As many as 217 films from 90 countries will be screened at the five-day annual event.
Screening of popular award winning hit films under the Best World Cinema' category and seven all-time hit classic Indian movies like Dadasaheb Phalke's 'Harish Chandra chi Factory',Yash Chopra's 'Daag', Guru Dutt's 'Kaagaz Ke Phool', K Asif's 'Mughal-e-Azam', Mahesh Bhatt's 'Saaransh' and Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Maqbool', will be one of the attractions in the five-day annual festival.
The films would be exhibited at 11 screens at eight venues in the Pink City.
Besides screening of the films, 16 workshops and seminars on various cinema-related topics would also be held which would be attended by cine personalities.
