Uttar Pradesh govt directs on affordable and best treatment
Lucknow, Jan 30 : Uttar Pradesh government today said hospitals should be equipped with all the necessary resources to enable them to provide affordable treatment to the people in the state.
"The hospitals should be equipped with adequate resources for better health facilities," state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said while directing officials here.
The people should get modern treatment at affordable charges in the state, he asserted.
Moreover, he directed the medical institutions to ensure adequate number of medicos, staff and other resources.
Mr Yadav issued these directions after meeting with the officials of Uttar Pradesh Rural Medical Sciences and Resarch Insitutute in Safai and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
The CM also approved assistance of doctors for surgeries from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) and King George Medical University (KGMC) to Dr RML Institute in the state capital.
Besides, he directed for the construction of new buildings of the RLM Institute on a modern design.
Mr Yadav further asked the officials to prepare a rule-book for the Safai institute and a proposal for deemed university in the next meet.
