Kohima, Jan 30 : The women wing of the Ao Baptist Churches Association (ABAM) is organising a mass Prayer Walk on February 2 in Mokokchung Town to support the Clean Election call given by ABAM and Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC).
ABAM Women Secretary Temsula Lemtur said the Walk will be held in Nagaland for Clean Election which will bring clean Government for the people.
She also urged all Ao women and well-wishers to participate in this noble venture so that an awareness can be created among all sections of the people so that the coming Assembly election should be clean and people would be able to choose a corruption free governance.
NBCC has initiated the 'Clean Election Campaign' since September last year throughout the state and all its federal unit bodies are arranging seminars, workshops, processions, banner displays, pledge-taking programme and rallies in all the districts and sub-divisional headquarters of the state to create awareness among the masses.
