Three girls rescued from being trafficked
Krishnagar, Jan 30 : A woman was arrested and three girls were rescued before they were planned to be sold at Nabadweep Ghat station police area today.
Police said Tapasi Karmakar lured the girls by saying she would offer them roles in television serials. She planned to sell them in Bihar.
However, police got wind of the plan and rescued the teenaged girls and arrested the woman.
