NPF declares candidates for all 60 seats of Nagaland Assembly
Kohima, Jan 30 : With the Notification issued today, the ruling Naga People's Front (NPF) has released names for the remaining three assembly constituencies, which has already completed the names of contesting candidates from all the 60 seats of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
According to NPF sources here, the Election Screening Committee has finalised the list of three remaining candidates, as the party had declared 57 candidates on Monday and now the NPF will fight from all the 60 assembly constituencies.
The three members are Rajya Sabha MP Khekiho Zhimomi from the Ghaspani-I under Dimapur district, Rosemtong, from the Mokokchung Town and K C Nihoshe, from the Zunheboto.
With this, the NPF has allotted tickets to its candidates from all the 60 assembly constituencies.
NPF's pre-poll Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) allies, with BJP and JDU, will also field their respective candidates in a few constituencies.
