Two prisoners escape from Dalsingsarai jail in Samastipur
Samastipur, Jan 30 : Two prisoners escaped from Dalsingsarai sub-divisional jail in Samstipur district last night.
Police said today prisoners Tere Name and Sigheswar Sharma escaped from the jail after breaking an iron bar of a window of the room where they were lodged.
After the incident, raids were conducted at several hideouts in Samastipur district to arrest them.
Both of them are facing charges of murder, kidnapping, extortion and loot, police said, adding, the border of Samastipur district had been sealed.
Raids are being conducted to arrest them, police said.
