Mumbai, Jan 30 : The BSE Sensex climbed 0.07 percent on Wednesday, ending unchanged as a cautious stance by the RBI countered gains on bargain buying.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 14.10 points higher at 20,005.00 with 12 of its components closing in the green.
The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.10 percent or 5.85 points higher at 6,055.75 on Wednesday.
Sentiments remained damp following a policy review by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday even as investors picked up some underperforming stocks.
Meanwhile in the New Delhi bullion market, gold fell by Rs 20 to Rs 30,980 per 10 grams while silver recovered by Rs 500 to Rs 58,500 per kg.
