Rohtak (Haryana), Jan 30 : A recently-retired police officer was gunned down in Haryana Wednesday by three unidentified car-borne assailants, an official said.
Ram Kishan Dahiya was shot dead in Shastri Nagar neighbourhood in Rohtak town, about 70 km from Delhi, police said.
Dahiya, who retired as Meham police station chief last month, was killed when he went to his under-construction house in Shastri Nagar.
The three assailants got down from a car and fired several rounds at Dahiya from a close range, police said.
