Crude oil price of Indian Basket rises
New Delhi, Jan 30 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Wednesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 110.63/barrel (bbl) on Jan 29.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 110.35/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 28.
In rupee terms however, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5940.83/bbl on Jan 29 as compared to Rs 5946.76/bbl on Jan 28.
This was due to rupee appreciation as rupee dollar-exchange rate on Jan 29 at Rs 53.70/USUSD against Rs 53.89/USUSD on previous trading day of Jan 28.
