LFW: 4 fresh faces to walk the runway
Mumbai, Jan 30 : Four fresh faces will be seen walking the runway at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2013.
As many as 76 aspiring female models from all over India and from around the globe auditioned for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013, of which four female models were selected by a panel of judges.
Actresses Katrina Kaif, Mugdha Godse, Yana Gupta, Frieda Pinto, Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria and Miss India World Kanishta Dhankar are some of the many successful alumni who were discovered at Lakme Fashion Week model auditions in the past.
The jury panel comprised a mix of LFW Advisory Board members, fashion experts and stalwarts of the Indian fashion industry, including designer Neeta Lulla; show directors Anu Ahuja, Lubna Adams and Alison Kanuga; columnist Nonita Kalra; along with Shalini Raghavan, Marketing Manager, Lakme.
Speaking about the model auditions, Purnima Lamba, Head- Lakme, Innovations said, "As the pioneer in the Indian beauty and cosmetic industry, Lakme' believes in encouraging new talent and providing them with opportunities to showcase their potential.
