Narayanamurthy asks entrepreneurs to bet on product differentiation
Hubli, Karnataka, Jan 29 : Software Giant Infosys' Mentor N R Narayanamurthy today asked new entrepreneurs to go for start-ups with a differentiation in product range to make a dent in the manufacturing sector
He was addressing the inaugural session of two-day TiECON workshop, organised by The Indus Entrepreneurs Hubli Chapter with a purpose of unleashing the potential of Hubli region
He said entrepreneurs should aim at providing customers the best quality product to gain success in their venture
He said,"a huge exercise was needed for ventures to plan, create infrastructure and develop expertise
The incoming entrepreneurs could attain this through their talent and common sense
Mr Narayanamurthy also called upon entrepreneurs to be more creative and hardworking. Giving the example of his experience, he said he had just to coordinate between the US and India and had to start day and night service system in his company
It became a new and innovative idea which other companies then adopted
It was morning in India when it was night in the US. This novel idea was introduced to mitigate this constraint of time, he said
He was hopeful of more entrepreneurs entering the field of industry in North Karnataka region as there has been existence of innumerable number of talents here
When asked about the difference between women and men entrepreneurs,Dr Gururaj Deshapande, the Chairman of Sparta USA, who was in the chair, said women think differently and make new ventures
Dr Deshapnade also said ample opportunities were available in North Karnataka, especially in Hubli, to start their own ventures with innovative ideas
