NCP announces 2nd list of candidates for assembly polls
Kohima, Jan 29 : The Central Election Committee of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has released its second list of candidates for the February 23 assembly elections
According to party sources,candidates are L Yezehekhu Sumi for Dimapur-III Constituency under Dimapur district, Senchumo (NSN Lotha) for Tyui constituency and Mmhonlumo Kikon for Bhandari constituency, both under Wokha district, T P Yaeih from Tehok constituency under Mon district and Lima Onen Chang from Noksen constituency under Tuensang district
The party planned to field about 15 candidates and had released a list of five candidates on January 25
State NCP chief Neiba Ndang would fight for the Tening seat under Peren district, while former home minister and NPF outcast Dr T. M. Lotha was allotted the NCP ticket for Wokha
