Rapist of deaf, mute minor girl held in Sheohar
Sheohar, Jan 29 : An auto-rickshaw driver who had allegedly raped a seven-year-old deaf and mute girl at Kothia under Town police station last night, was arrested in the district today
Police said here that the driver had allegedly raped the girl after taking her to the premises of Kothia middle school
When the girl returned to her house, her family members suspected something wrong and informed the local people
Enraged over the incident, local people started searching the culprit and caught him early this morning, police said, adding they handed over the auto driver to police
The victim had been sent for medical examination while the driver was being questioned, police stated
