Man get life-term for rape of minor
Muzaffarpur, Jan 29 : A local court today awarded rigorous life imprisonment to a person for raping a minor girl, while her father was sentenced for three years for keeping the victim under his captivity
Additional District and Session Judge Vashishth Narain Singh sentenced Laldeo Thakur to rigorous life imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping a minor girl
Vilas Thakur, father of Laldeo Thakur was also awarded three years of imprisonment as he was found guilty of keeping the victim under his captivity after the incident, to hush up the case
The court also slapped fine of Rs 5,000 each on both the convicts
According to the charges, Laldeo Thakur had raped a minor girl at Bahdinpur village under Paru police station area in Muzaffarpur district on May 22, 2005.
