Ranchi, Jan 29 : Union Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal today said the Congress party is not interested to form government in Jharkhand as it does not want to send wrong signal to the people of the state

'If the Congress party had been interested it would have formed government in Jharkhand. However, we do not want to send a wrong signal among the people,' Mr Jaiswal told a press conference held at the CCL head quarters in the evening

'People saw a 28-month government in the state which was a failure....the chief minister had to resign,' the Union minister said adding that his party was not interested to form the government as it wanted the people to get some relief

He also said there was no controversy regarding prime-ministerial candidate in the Congress party and all Congressmen are jointly working towards achieving the mission 2014

Without naming the BJP, the senior Congress leader said those people are only running campaign for prime-ministerial candidate where there is a controversy regarding a popular choice

'Whenever the Congress high command decided to announce its candidate for the post of Prime Minister it will take the decision within two hours and let every one know,' he said

The coal minister was in the town to inagurate a 'Jan Arogya Kendra' in CCL's Gandhinagar Colony and also launched two programmes Hridya Suraksha Abhiyaan and Bare Foot Manager Launching Programme
