Jamshedpur/Chaibasa, Jan 29 : Claiming to have no ties with erstwhile poll partner Congress or any other party in the next assembly or parliamentary elections, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik (JVM-P) supremo and former chief minister Babulal Marandi today alleged the Congress was enjoying 'back-door' governance during the President Rule in the state and was also in the search of yet another Madhu Koda for the formation of an alternative government

Talking to newspersons in Chaibasa today, Mr Marandi said,' My party would contest all the 81 assembly and 14 parliamentary seats alone in the next elections. We will not have any alliance. Congress was ruling the state from backdoor during President's rule and was also looking for another Madhu Koda to form a government to plunder and further ruin Jharkhand.' To a query, Mr Marandi claimed the Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh was making 'picnic' trips to Saranda, a former Naxal den, only to facilitate the iron ore mining of the corporate sector

"Jairam has made five trips but he has nothing to do with the people's good. He was actually interested in getting iron ore mines of the area for his friends and was preparing a background for the same. The poor people of the area were being crushed between the excesses of the Maoist ultras and security personnel," he said
