After son, Putin now rumoured to have daughter with Russian gymnast turned MP
Washington, Jan. 29: Russian President Vladimir Putin is said to have a daughter and a three-year-old son with a former Russian gymnast, according to reports.
Alina Kabaeva, who is also a member of the Duma or the Russian Parliament, was secretly engaged to Putin and had a son with him. But later, this report was retracted, the New York Post reports.
Kabaeva, who gave birth to the girl in November 2012, has said the boy is her nephew.
It is believed that Putin had moved Alina and her two children into his palatial retreat in Sochi on the Black Sea, where the Russian czar used to have his summer palace.
Putin's wife, Lyudmila, has not been seen in public since his inauguration last spring, and there was no official celebration of her 55th birthday which took place recently.
