Lewis Hamilton travels to chilly mountains for active break
London, Jan 29: Lewis Hamilton is said to be pulling out all the stops to ensure he is in excellent condition for the daunting task of turning Mercedes into frontrunners by working out in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
The 28-year-old Formula One ace posted a set of pictures of himself on Twitter, seemingly in the midst of a mountain top hike, following a gruelling training schedule ahead of his upcoming season with Mercedes having left Mclaren, the Daily Mail reported.
One of the pictures shows the racing car driver in a log cabin staring pensively out of the window at the stunning alpine view.
"Dream big, the skies not the limit its just a view (sic)." He tweeted.
In the second shot, the 2008 world champion is kitted out in winter sports gear wearing a zip up woolly hoody, a beanie hat and combat-style trousers against a scenic backdrop.
