Bunty Chore interrogated by Kerala Police

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 28 : Devinder Singh, alias, Bunty Chor is being interrogated at Nandavanam A R Camp today. Bunty Chor, arrested in Pune for allegedly lifting a luxury car from the house of an NRI businessman in Kerala capital, was brought to here by Air India's Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram flight at 0830 hrs

A Kerala police team, led by Peroorkada Circle Inspector Prathapan Nair, took the custody of the thief from Pune. He was taken straight to Nandavanam A R Camp from the airport for a detailed interrogation

The police would produce him before the court after taking him to the NRI's residence for collecting evidence

Bunty Chor was on the run after allegedly lifting the luxury car. Later, the car was brought here on Friday from Krishnagiri where he abandoned it on the Karnataka border

Bunty Chor, allegedly committed over 500 burglaries, drove off in the luxury car parked in the house after entering the premises breaking its hi-tech security systems including surveillance and intruder warning alarm

It was reported that the images of Bunty Chor were recorded in the hidden camera installed at the house. After the burglary, he had escaped into Karnataka. However, he managed to escape from Karnataka and entered Maharashtra

The Kerala Police, who is in touch with their counterparts in other states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Maharashtra, began an intensive search in various places and roads leading to border areas, leading to his arrest from a hotel in Pune
