Global crude oil price: Indian Basket declines
New Delhi, Jan 29 : The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Tuesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to USUSD 110.35/barrel (bbl) on Jan 28.
This was lower than the price of USUSD 110.64/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 25.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price fell marginally to Rs 5946.76/bbl on Jan 28 as compared to Rs 5957.96/bbl on Jan 25.
This was due to fall in price in dollar terms.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Jan 28 at Rs 53.89/USUSD against Rs 53.85/USUSD on previous trading day of Jan 25.
