Bobby Deol, Shreyas Talpade share birthday
Bollywood actors Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade shared their birthdays on Sunday.
While the junior Deol turned 46 years of age, Shreyas turned 37 years.
Born as Vijay Singh Deol, Bobby Deol is the son of Bollywood actor Dharmendra and the brother of Sunny Deol.
Deol first briefly appeared as a child actor in the film Dharam Veer in 1977.
However, he debuted in the silver screen with Twinkle Khanna in the film 'Barsaat' (1995), directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
Deol has mostly acted in thriller films, often playing characters who are forced to commit crime to avenge the deaths of loved ones like 'Badal', 'Gupt', 'Jurm', 'Bichhoo', Humraaz' and 'Players'.
He was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his role in the 1995 film 'Barsaat' and was later nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance in 'Humraaz' in 2002.
He has also tried his acting skills in other genres including 'Dillagi', '23rd March 1931: Shaheed', 'Apne', 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', and 'Thank You' .
The actor will be seen next in films 'Formula No 44', 'Cheers - Celebrate Life', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' and 'Jab Jab Fools Mile'.
On the other hand, birthday boy Shreyas Talpade is more famous for his comic timings in films.
Talpade began his acting career appearing in Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra.
Fame arrived after he made his Bollywood debut in Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Iqbal' which was written by Vipul K Rawal.
The film was critically appreciated and won him Zee Cine Critics Award - Best Actor for 'Iqbal'.
From then he went on delivering a number of comedy flicks including 'Dor', 'Apna Sapna Money Money', 'Om Shanti Om', ' Bombay To Bangkok', 'Welcome to Sajjanpur', ' Golmaal Returns' and 'Housefull 2'.
The actor presently has films 'Ishaan', 'Chemistry', 'Season Greetings' and ' Pirate' coming up in line.
