1 held, counterfeit currency seized in Kerala

Customs seluths at the aiport here arrested one person and seized counterfeit notes worth Rs 9.5 lakh from him today.
The arressted, identified as Abid (35), hailing from Malappuram, arrived at the airport by an Emirates flight from Dubai at 0945 hrs today, customs official told UNI.
Acting on a tip-off, the officials, made a thorough search and seized the counterfeit currency of Rs 500 denomination concealed in his bag, the sources said.
He was being interrograted by customs, sources added.
