'Fuming' Brawn says 'still boss at Mercedes'
Mercedes boss Ross Brawn has lambasted reports that he is set to be axed from the team and rejected rumours that McLaren's technical director Paddy Lowe would replace him at the team following his departure.
Brawn claimed he is still the boss at Mercedes and would take all the important decisions within the team.
Brawn said that Lowe will join Mercedes only if he quits his post, adding that he knows about the future plans of the team and hopes to be a part of it for a long time, The Sun reports.
The former co-owner of Mercedes underlined the differences between his and new Mercedes chief Toto Wolff, saying that he is in charge of the team's technical and sporting matters whereas Wolff looks after a different side of the business.
Brawn also insists that star driver Lewis Hamilton has not been unsettled but speculation about his own future.
