Liz Hurley's pooches suffer from poisoning
Elizabeth Hurley has revealed that two of her dogs are seriously ill after a suspected poisoning.
The 47-year-old actress recently took to Twitter in order to share the news shortly after arriving back in Britain from a trip to Australia with her fiance, cricketer Shane Warne, the Daily Express reported.
Hurley asserted that her chocolate Labrador Lucy had to have her legs bandaged after being put on a drip, but did not mention whether the dogs had been deliberately fed poison or accidentally picked it up from the land surrounding her Gloucestershire farmhouse.
"Home Sweet Home. Wonderful to be back but two of my dogs have been seriously ill for the last 48 hours. Vet thinks poison. Horrific," she tweeted.
"Lucy, the chocolate lab, was hit the worst. She still has bandaged legs where the drip went in. Lots of cuddles," she added.
However, not all of her dogs were sick, as she later posted on the social networking site about her snow fight with puppy Mia.
"The farm looks beautiful in the snow. I had a snowball fight with puppy Mia. She kept eating them, though," she added.
