Murray hoping to 'prepare, attack and destroy' Federer express in Australian Open semis
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray is hoping to 'Prepare, Attack and Destroy' Roger Federer, according to the slogan emblazoned on his t-shirt- after he beat Jeremy Chardy to move into the semi finals of the Australian Open to face the Swiss ace.
Murray, who will play against Federer in the first night match of the tournament, said that he is expecting a good game, as he has not yet lost a single set in the tournament, reports The Sun.
Recalling his games against Murray at the Wimbledon and the Olympics in 2012, Federer said that he is expecting a tough match.
Acknowledging Murray's form, Federer said that he has always enjoyed playing against Murray because the Scottish star used to play very tactical games.
Federer was stretched by Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in a marathon five-setter before sealing a hard-fought 7-6 4-6 7-6 3-6 6-3 win.
World No 1 Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer will be playing in the other last-four clash.
In the women's semis, Sloane Stephens - who defeated 15-time Slam winner Serena Williams 3-6 7-5 6-4 - takes on reigning champ Victoria Azarenka. Li Na plays against Maria Sharapova.
