Global oil price: Indian Basket rises
New Delhi, Jan 23 (IBNS)
The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Wednesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 109.49/barrel (bbl) on Jan 22.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 109.39/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 21.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price went down to Rs 5858.81/bbl on Jan 22 as compared to Rs 5892.84/bbl on Jan 21.
This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Jan 22 was Rs 53.51/USUSD against Rs 53.87/USUSD on Jan 21.
