American Swan targets Indian fashion market with e-retailing
Well-known brand The American Swan Lifestyle Company(TASLC) is set to tap Indian fashionistas with its online shopping site - AmericanSwan.com.
With a twist to the genre of preppy fashion, the brand offers authentic smart casuals to those who seek an aspirational, glamorous yet restrained lifestyle. A distinctive range of products for both men and women starting from apparel, footwear, accessories to beauty and home decor will be availabe on the website.
"As consumers in India look for global designs and standards with affordable pricing and the convenience of a click, American Swan expects to garner a significant share of the apparel and lifestyle market," Anurag Rajpal, director and CEO, TASLC, said in a statement.
Four Cross Media, a global digital media conglomerate, will invest Rs. 40 crore in the venture.
"With American Swan we are focused towards building an aspirational lifestyle brand. Our focus is to build compelling consumer engagement using digital media as that is a space we understand and are confident about," added Puneet Johar, co-founder and managing director, Asia, Four Cross Media.
