Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan and Goa, and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh.

They were appreciably below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. They were below normal in some parts of Jharkhand, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat Region, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka, and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh. They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha, and in remaining parts of Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

The lowest minimum temperature of 1.6 degree Celsius has been recorded at Erinpura Road in west Rajasthan in the plains of the country.

Rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu and Kashmir.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.
