Don't mix politics with Modi's invitation: Munda

Amid uproar over invitation of JSCA to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the inaugural ceremony of the international cricket stadium at Ranchi, caretaker Chief Minister Arjun Munda today said politics should not be mixed up with sports.
"The invitation to Modi should not be made an issue at all.
We should rather welcome him in our state," Mr Munda told reporters here.
Mr Modi will officially inaugurate the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) International Cricket Stadium (ICC) at Dhurwa, Ranchi, the hometown of Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, on January 18.
The stadium will host the third match of the ongoing India-England ODI series on January 19.
