DGP, CS air dashed to Delhi, Seemandhra meeting held successfully
After a gap of one year, the campaigners of integrated Andhra - Seemandhra - conducted a meeting here today even as the deadline for the announcement by the Centre is nearing.
Similar attempts by Seemandhra leaders to hold workshops and seminars besides conclaves in Hyderabad had ended up in chaos with violent protests by T JAC backed protesters in the past.
Andhra Pradesh DGP Mr V Dinesh Reddy and Chief Secretary Ms Minnie Mathew air dashed to New Delhi along with Chief of state intelligence for an emergency meeting summoned by the Union Home Secretary .
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana have also been summoned to Delhi ahead of Jaipur meeting.
68 elected representatives including Ten ministers, 26 MLAs and 2 MPs and another 30 odd state leaders participated in the meeting which has generated more heat and dust in the wake of the anticipated move by the center to grant Telangana state by month end.
