The Karnataka Government is committed to bring about healthy industrial growth in the state and will consider additional tax relief and subsidy to those who come forward to set up industries in Tier II and Tier III cities, Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar said today.

Speaking at the inauguration of Centenary Celebration of Industry and Commerce Department here, he said the government has decided not to allow any more industries in the State Capital Bangalore which is already over crowded and keeping in view the need for overall development and job generation in rural areas industrial units will be allowed only in other parts of the State.

He said that the Department should come out with recommendations to attract more investment in rural areas and the government will consider concessions.
