Man awarded life sentence for molesting 6-yr-old

A man, who sexually molested a six-year-old girl, was awarded life sentence by District Sessions Court here today.
Judge B A Patil, besides awarding life imprisonment to 30-year-old Girish, slapped a fine of Rs 2,25,000.
Girish lured the girl by offering chocolate before taking her to a secluded place and raped her at Channagowdanahalli under the Mallandur police station limits.
The judge had ordered that the total fine money, Rs two lakh be given to the girl.
