District Sessions Judge V Shercy today flagged off the mobile court service of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) at Thalassery here with an aim to provide justice to all people of the district.
The mobile court would visit all panchayaths of the district up to February 10 and consider petty criminal cases, cheque bouncing cases, property disputes cases, domestic violence and family disputes, said Ms Shercy.
Legal help will be provided to those unable to approach the court due to financial constraints.
The DLSA would also collect the details of the cases registered in all the police stations and settle them, she said.
The services of Retired District Judge K Radhakrishnan would be utilised for the mobile court.
The main aim of DLSA is to make the people legally aware.
