Helicopter crashes in central London
A helicopter crashed in central London on Wednesday morning at Vauxhall near the Parliament, officials said.
A huge flume of grey smoke billowed out of the crash site where the helicopter plummeted at around 8 am after hitting a crane sending out a huge fireball.
The pilot has died, initial reports said, adding that there are more casualties feared.
Many could be trapped in the debris.
Eye witnesses said the helicopter was flying low and hit the crane and then plummeted on the ground.
Some cars on the ground were also hit.
