Chennai: 1 dead in Metro construction mishap

One person died and three others were injured in an accident at a Metro Rail construction site in Chennai on Thursday, said reports.
According to reports quoting officials, a 30-metre iron girder crashed on the workers around 3.30am. One of them died.
The two injured are being treated at a private hospital in the city. There are reportedly out of danger.
This is the fourth such accident and the second fatal one at a Metro Rail construction site in Chennai.
In August 2012, one worked had died and six others were seriously injured when a crane boom failed, said reports.
