Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure, Investment and Ports Minister G Srinivasa Rao today inauurated the 3-day International Dance Festival'Bharath Nrityotsav'-2013 in the Port City.
Speakig after inaugurating the 3-day dance festival here, he said the Port City was land mark to the ciy in the field of Art Culture and Enhanced to the Develop the Indian tourism in the Country. He appreciated the Nataraj Music and Dance Academy (NMDA) Founder President Vikram Goud.
The Odissi Dance performed by Russians elina, Trysia, Merina and Kuchipudi Dance performed by Sai Gargi of Nigeria.
The Interntional Dance experts from nine countries, including Russia, Peru, Nigeria, Bangaldesh and Indian dancers participated.
The Founder-president of NMDA Vikram Goud stated that NMDA is the only organisation which was accorded the International Dance Council recognition in the AP State.
Since 2011 the academy had been hosting international dance festivals. The 3-day festival was organised in cooperation with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. 18 dance experts of Indian origin from around the world have been identified for giving dance performances in the 3-day festival.
