Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar today clarified that he is not dropping any ministers, including Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje.
Referring to media reports of Ms Karandlaje, an ardent supporter of Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was likely to be dropped from the Ministry, he told mediapersons here 'No ministers, including Karandlaje will be dropped from the state cabinet. There is no truth in the report'.
He also clarified that the issue did not come up for discussion at the recent 'Chintan Baithak.' In the backdrop of Mr Yeddyurappa giving January 20 as deadline for the fall of the Shettar Government he said nobody should have any doubt over his budget presentation for the next fiscal.
He expressed his happiness over the party projecting him as the next Chief Minister candidate in the ensuing Assembly elections and said this had brought more responsibility on his shoulders.
Mr Shettar said he would work hard for BJP to regain power in next election. 'My government will complete its tenure. It will not fall. It is only a opposition parties' dream,' he added.
