Political parties to take out demo on Jan 10

Different political parties in Puducherry would hold demonstration and take out march on January 10 to condemn the rape of a plus-two-student.
A decision to this effect was taken at an all party meeting chaired by the PMK.
Leaders of parties such as PMK, DMDK, MDMK, NCP, BSP, CPI (ML), among others, participated in the meeting.
It may be noted that the PMK had earlier called for a bandh in the issue on January 9.
Meanwhile, in an effort to reduce crimes against women in buses, Transport Commissioner Sundaresan has ordered that only the driver and conductor should be there in buses and they should be wearing their ID cards.
