Communist Party of India (Marxist) today launched a signature campaign to press the Centre to drop the direct cash transfer (DCT) scheme.
CPI(M) Tamil Nadu state Council Member T Murugan inaugurated the campaign near the Legislative Assembly.
They were also demanding the provision of ration commodities to all, 35 kg of free rice every month and removal of restrictions imposed on subsidized gas cylinders, among other things.
