Three quakes hit Arunachal Pradesh

Three low intensity earthquakes hit Arunachal Pradesh on Monday, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The first quake, that measured 4.5 on the Richter scale, shook Arunachal Pradesh at 5:32 am. The epicentre of it was located at Latitude 28.1 degrees North and Longitude 94.3 degrees East, IMD said.

The second one, measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale, hit the state at 7:06 am. The epicentre of the quake was located at Latitude 28.1 degrees North and Longitude 94.4 degrees East.

The third tremor, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, jolted the state at 7:19 am. The epicentre of it was located at Latitude 28.1 degrees North and Longitude 94.4 degrees East.

There were no immediate reports of casualty or damage.
