Pallam Raju to lay foundation stone for Kerala Central Varsity

Human Resource Development Minister Pallam Raju will lay the foundation stone for the Central University of Kerala (CUK) at Periya in northern-most district of Kasargod in the state tomorrow.
The function, to be attended by, among others, Minister of State for HRD Shashi Thaoor, Ministers of State Mullappally Ramachandran, E Ahamed, State Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb, senior CPI (M) leader P Karunakaran, representing Kasargod in the Lok Sabha, would be presided over by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
A master plan for the 310-acre campus of the CUK, which started functioning from a rented premises in 2009, would be released by Mr Tharoor.
