SCR extends special trains
The South Central Railway (SCR) today announced that it was extending the special trains being operated between Secunderabad and Kurla ( Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) to clear extra rush of passengers.
A release here said Train No. 02701 Secunderabad-Kurla (Lokmanya Tilak) special train will depart Secunderabad at 2200 hours on January 6, 13, 20 and 27 (on all Sundays) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1105 hours on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No 02702 Kurla (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus)-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 2305 hours on January 7, 14, 21 and 28 (on all Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 1105 hours on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Begumpet, Seram, Wadi, Sholapur, Daund, Pune and Lonavala in both the directions.
These special trains will comprise of two Power cars, eight AC Three Tier, two AC Two Tier, one AC First Class and one Pantry car totaling to fourteen coaches, the release said.
