Woman's body found in field
Kumbakonam,Tamil Nadu, Dec 26 (UNI)
A 35-year-old woman was found murdered in a field on Kumbakonam-Nagaikudi Road, near here, this morning.
Based on a information provided by the local village administrative officer, a police team led by Kumbakonam Deputy Suprintendent of Police Shiva Bhaskar, went to the spot and recovered the naked body of the woman and sent the same to Government Hospital here for post-mortem.
Police suspect the woman might have been abducted by a gang which sexually assaulted and subsequently murdered her.
