Huge explosive haul in Kerala

Huge quantity of explosive materials and detonators were seized by the Excise Department at Kiliyanthana near Iritty in Kannur District of Kerala last night who also nabbed one person in this connection.
Police, quoting the Excise Department, here today said sleuths in a raid recovered seven bundles of fuse wire and six sacks of amonium nitrate from a Scopio jeep at Kiliyanthala Check Post.
The sleuths also arrested Sreejith, a native of Kiliyanthara, for transporting the contraband.
