Chandrasekharan murder case: Prime accused shifted to Kozhikode

T K Rajeesh, one of the prime accused in the RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan murder case, was shifted to Kozhikode District Jail today, following intelligence report that CPI(M) leaders were visiting him continuously.

Today CPI(M) MLA, S T V Rajesh, James Mathew, K K Narayanan, C Krishnan and State Committee Member M V Jayarajan met T K Rajeesh at Kannur Central jail around 1000 hrs.

Talking to reporter after visiting the jail, Mr Jayarajan alleged that Crime Branch team led by DySP A P Shoukath Ali was torturing T K Rajeesh at central jail in the name of the probe of K T Jayakrishnan murder case.

Mr Jayarajan also alleged that Crime Branch team had asked Rajeesh to tell the names of CPI(M) leaders in the murder case of Yuva Morcha State leader K T Jayakrishnan master. CPI(M) would take legal measures against the Crime Branch team for torturing Rajeesh at Jail.

He also alleged that ome Minister Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan had been continuously using DySP Shoukath Ali for hunting CPI(M) activists.
