Eva Longoria not dating LA mayor

Rumors have been swirling that Eva Longoria is dating Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, but the actress says the gossip isn't true.
It all started when Star magazine's source claimed the two were "holding hands and sneaking into a late-night showing of 'Lincoln'" in LA.
The "Desperate Housewives" star, who split with Jets QB Mark Sanchez in October, explicitly told her friend Mario Lopez on "Extra" that she is not dating the divorced Villaraigosa.
Longoria explained to Lopez that her heavy involvement during the Obama campaign sparked speculation of a romantic connection to the politician.
