Hotmail email service co-founder Sabeer Bhatia and Neel Naicker on Friday launched Asset Management Platform (AMP) Technologies in India, with the mission of providing real estate asset managers throughout the world with a cost effective and innovative platform to deliver critical investment performance analytics.
Naicker is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AMP Technologies.
"The idea was born by their own frustration with the lack of information available, and the antiquated systems used in their own real estate investments, so they set out to create a world-class real estate Asset Management Platform or what is now AMP Technologies," said an official statement.
The AMP platform is a set of products and services designed to allow for commercial real estate investors, owners and operators aggregate and access to critical investment information from any PC, laptop, tablet or mobile device.
"I am extremely delighted to launch this new business venture in India," said Bhatia, Co-Founder and Chairman, AMP Technologies.
"AMP is a cost effective, and unique, cloud-based real estate asset management platform, and there is no need for the installation of hardware, software, databases, maintenances or upgrades. Our aim is to become a leader in delivering the world class solutions and services to the real estate managers across the globe."
Naicker said, "We have formed this company in 2010 and since then a lot of R and D has gone into developing our products. Earlier this year, AMP Technologies created an offshore services offering to provide commercial real estate investors, owners and operators with cost-effective, and high quality Lease Administration, Finance and Accounting, and Due Diligence services.
"All of the AMP services are delivered through the AMP products and platform, and managed through our industry's first Services Dashboard."
"To address increasing client demand effectively AMP recently opened a new 250-seat facility in Chennai that will focus on future IT development of the platform and deliver Lease Administration, Finance and Accounting, and Due Diligence services using the AMP platform.
"We will be recruiting 1000 more employees by the end of calendar year 2015 to service commercial real estate investors, owners and operators throughout the world", he added.
AMP's current products include AMPIntelligence, an intuitive, highly visual financial reporting dashboard, AMPLease, a tool designed to analyze complex and voluminous lease and pipeline data, and AMPFiles to store, search and access critical documents and legal agreements documents from any mobile device.
