Silver, Gold down
The precious metals nosedived today at the domestic bullion market today with Silver down by Rs 1,625 to Rs 60,170 per kg and Gold declined by Rs 635 to Rs 30,540 per ten gm on lack of buying enquiries from stockists, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
Gaining by Rs 470 per kg yesterday, Silver fell by Rs 1,175 per kg in the opening session, till the end of the session it further lost ground by Rs 1625 per kg to close in red at Rs 60,170 as compared to its previous close.
Similarly, Gold, which advanced by Rs 190 per ten gm yesterday, drifted lower by Rs 465 in the opening session.
Finally, standard and pure gold variety tumbled by Rs 635 and Rs 630 per ten gm respectively.
Standard and pure gold ended at Rs 30,540 and Rs Rs 30,670 per ten gm respectively.
