American judges will impart training to Pakistani judges and prosecutors at the Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad, reports the Daily Times.

This was agreed during a meeting between Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and senior judge from California David Carter.

The two also exchanged views on further cooperation between judiciaries of Pakistan and State of California, particularly in areas of judicial education and training. They also discussed issues of mutual interest relating to functioning of legal/judicial system in the two countries.
