Three year jail term for state legislature members

Rajasthan Minister of State for Medical and Health Rajkumar Sharma, sitting BJP MLA Hanuman Beniwal and another accused were slapped with three-year jail term in a 15-year-old case for blocking road in Jaipur.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-11 Vandana Rathore has yesterday awarded the trio punishment for holding demonstration outside the Maharaja College here, blocking road and assaulting the the police in 1997.
The court also granted them a month's time for appeal and also a bail for the aforesaid period.
